A non-Tesla Road

This week was an adventure.  I did stop by two new supercharging stations:  Barstow and Harris Ranch … but not in my Tesla.

There are definitely a few roads which need a high clearance vehicle such as the spectacular Titus Canyon Road in Timbisha (Death) Valley.

For part of the trip, I even rented a 4WD with super high clearance and super sturdy tires for the trip out to the racetrack, through Teakettle junction and the spectacular drive over Hunter Pass.

In Timbisha (Death) Valley itself, one can easily rent these vehicles.  I was exploring several other dirt roads in Mojave National Preserve and elsewhere making driving a 4WD more practical. The Model S is not for every occasion.
